Linda Turner
Artistic Director, Founder, Teacher and Choreographer

Dance Unlimited's well balanced approach to teaching dance is a tribute to the school Artistic Director, Founder, Teacher and Choreographer, Linda Turner. Linda's experience as a former professional dancer, teacher, and coach bring a well balanced approach to the studio environment. She includes over 30 years teaching experience from Pre-K to the College/University Level. As well as being a certified teacher Linda's credentials include:

*Active membership in Boston Dance Teachers Club & Dance Masters of America

*Certified Ajudicator by the National Dance Council

*Former Professional Dancer

*Award winning and competitive gymnast

*Post Graduate Dance Masters Teacher Training School at the University of Buffalo. Certification in Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Modern/Contemporary and Acrobatics'

*Dance Team Coach Middle School to College Levels

*Cheerleading Coach Middle School to College Levels

*Former New England Patriots Cheerleader

*Gymnastic floor exercise choreographer

*Certified Kindermusik Instructor

*Certified Ariel Silks & Bungee Instructor

*Choreographer NE Patriots Cheerleader Alumni

Linda frequently attends workshops and seminars across the country such as Pulse, Summit, and Dance Teacher Web. This ongoing exposure is evident in the schools training and choreography, especially in the schools resident dance group, the DU Dancers. These dancers have performed Linda's choreography at Walt Disney World, ABC TV Disney Christmas Parade, Universal Studios, Norwegian Cruise Lines, The Boston State House, The Boston Celtic's & Red Sox.

Ms. Emily studied dance at Bridgewater State University & UMass Boston. She was very active in their respective dance companies as both a performer & choreographer. Ms. Em has also assisted with choreographer for the DU productions in Walt Disney World. She is a sought after Zumba & Barre Teacher here in the South Shore. Ms. Em recently had a little girl Saorse, who joins her son Lochlan.

Karen McAlpin

Teacher and Choreographer

Ms. Karen began her journey with DU back in 1992 and returned to DU as a member of the Adult class. Karen graduated from Emerson College with a BFA in Production/Stage Management and has worked at various theaters in the Boston & surrounding areas. She currently works part time at the North Shore Music Theatre in production. When she is not dancing or in the theatre she can be found at Source One Financing.

Ms. Jenna graduated from Stonehill College after studying Elementary Education and Psychology. During her time in college, Ms. Jenna was a member of Stoneworks Dance Company and the Stonehill  College Dance Club. She is currently a member of DanceWorks Boston. She also studied at DU and performed in such places as Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, The Boston Red Sox, The Celtics, and at the Boston State House.

Ms. Lindsey has studied dance extensively beginning with her mom here at DU. She has attended a number of conferences in New York City at Summit and recently at Dance Teacher Web in Las Vegas. Lindsey also completed the DTCB Education Certificate Program and was the recipient of the Teach In Award for showing most potential as a dance educator. She also won the National Dance Council Scholarship which was based on her talent in tap and outstanding academic record. Lindsey is also a CPA and tax analyst for one of the country's top four accounting practices.

Ms. Amelia recently completed the intern program here at DU and is looking forward to teaching this year. She has performed with the DU dance company and has had many lead roles in the studios performances of the Nutcracker. She looks forward to beginning her year teaching.
