Emily McHugh - Ms. Emily studied dance at Bridgewater State University & UMass Boston.  She was very active in the respective dance companies as both a performer & choreographer.  Ms. Em also assisted with the choreography for Walt Disney World when DU was there in 2009 and with our productions of the Nutcracker.  She recently received her Zumba certification which she shares with the Special Needs Students and many local gyms in the area.  She was the former dance coach for Notre Dame Academy and began her dance training here at DU! Her contemporary classes are a favorite of many of the students here at DU.

Lindsey Murphy - Lindsey has just received her Masters Degree with distinction in Tax at Bentley University and has recently passed the CPA exam.   She began her training with her mom Linda Turner at DU.  She has also continued her dance education by attending conferences in New York at Summit & Dance Teacher Web Conference in Las Vegas.  Lindsey also completed the Boston Dance Education Certificate program in 2009.  She was recipient of the Boston Dance Teachers Club Teach In Award for showing the most potential as a dance educator.  She  also won the National Dance Council scholarship which was based on her talent in tap and outstanding academic record.

Jenna Grimaldi -  Jenna is an honor student and has competed in dance finishing with all Platinum Awards.  Her specialty is lyric jazz and we are excited she will be teaching with us this year.   She was a recent performer this past Christmas in the televised ABC-TV Disney World Holiday Spectacular and a guest performer this past Christmas at the Boston State House.  She also continues her training here at DU and conferences at Dance Masters of America.

Jaime Savage - Jaime has just finished her freshman year at UMass Amherst as a pre-med major in the honors program.  Jaime began her studies in dance here at DU and had worked her way up from intern to a teaching position. Jaime performed in many of the performance experiences here at DU including the ABC-TV Disney World Holiday Spectacular.  We are happy that she will be joining us again this summer.

Karen McAlpin - Ms. Karen began her journey with DU back in 1992 and returned to DU six years ago as a member of the Adult Class.  Karen graduated from Emerson College with a BFA in Production/Stage Management and has worked at various theatres in the Boston & surrounding areas.  She currently works part time  at the North Shore Music Theatre where she works in production.  When she is not dancing or in the theatre she can be found at Source One Financing.  Karen is thrilled to join the staff just in time to celebrate DU's 30th Anniversary.
